Die Fortsetzung soll das Spielprinzip des Fun-Racers nicht antasten, dafür aber zahlreiche neue Strecken bieten, teilweise mit eher exotischen Örtlichkeiten wie dem Mond, und die Möglichkeit, die Fahrzeuge mit Upgrades auszustatten. Noch interessanter dürfte allerdings der Online-Mehrspieler-Modus sein, der die Mii´s unterstützt, und bis zu sechs Fahrer gleichzeitig auf der Piste zulässt. Erscheinen soll Excite Truck 2 dann Ende 2007.

Excite Truck 2 is on the way.
As every multiplayer addict asked for it, Excite Truck 2 will have an online multiplayer mode : up to 6 players, with Mii dispay. According to Nintendo's privacy policy, the "friend code" system will be applicated. A lot of online options will be available.
A bunch of new tracks will be playable with 8 environments, among which the brand new couple of tracks taking place on the Moon. Be sure that you will take a flight at low gravity !
The "Stars" system during the race is still there, and you will have to master two new tricks : frontflip and backflip. Those who already played Excite Truck can easily imagine the way they will be able to perform these tricks !
With your "Stars", get some "Excite Points" to upgrade your truck to an amazing monster of steel an power !
The graphics will be improved, with better visual effects and shadows. We even implemented several ambiances to every track, like dawn or sunset.
Naja ich bin mir sicher, das irgendwas wahres dran sein wird, weil auf diese Art kann Nintendo Excite Truck 2 besser machen. Da der erste Teil cool ist, denk ich schon dass ein 2. Teil kommen wird, oder etwas aus der Excite Reihe. Aber mal abwarten was noch kommt
