Maike, ich kann mich deinen Worten nur anschliessen. Ich finde aber auf jeden Fall, es ist ein Vorteil für ihn, bei dieser Serie mit dabei zu sein, egal, ob die Rolle groß oder klein ist (groß wäre mir natürlich lieber). Qualität und Niveau mit ihm im Zusammenhang kann nur positiv für ihn sein. Es ist auf jeden Fall etwas ganz anderes wie Spooks oder RH und so kommt automatisch ein anderes Publikum hinzu. Der große Meilenstein in seiner Karierre wird es nicht sein, aber wer weiss, wohin es führen kann!! Auf jeden Fall für ihn als Schauspieler ein Pluspunkt.

Ich gehe davon aus, daß es nur eine kleine Rolle in einer Folge ist (vielleicht als neuer Nachbar? ), sonst wäre das ein größerer Dreh gewesen. Aber für viel mehr wird er momentan auch keine Zeit haben. Und es ist doch gut, wenn er in der Zwischenzeit mitnimmt, was geht, besonders wenn es sich offenbar um was Anspruchsvolleres handelt. Ich sehe es auf jeden Fall als Chance, wenn sein Name mit guten Sachen in Verbindung gebracht wird. Dass das was in Richtung "großer Wurf" sein könnte, erwarte ich ja gar nicht. Er/sein Agent wird schon wissen, was er tut! Und ich freue mich über alles, wenn ich ihn dadurch ein bißchen öfter zu sehen kriege!

Ich nehme mal an, die paar Tage in Liverpool waren für Außenaufnahmen, kann also sein, dass noch etwas im Studio gedreht wird und die Rolle so klein nicht ist. Aber ich denke, er hat eine Auszeit verdient und kann es sich inzwischen leisten nicht jede Rolle anzunehmen und zu gucken, was er wirklich machen möchte. Nicht, dass er uns zusammenklappt!

Das denke ich auch. Aber vielleicht war das ja auch was, was er wirklich machen möchte? Wenn der Autor so angesehen ist? Ich wünschte mir auch, er hätte lieber den angekündigten Skiurlaub gemacht und sich mal ausgeruht, aber er scheint ja ein kleiner Workaholic zu sein.

I've got some news from Sarah Deane, the writer of Richard's episode.
She was so kind to tell me what Moving On is about and how Richard is wonderful (we knew that, didn't we, someone should say he's awful just for a change ::) ).

I told her of Michaela and C19, but it seems she didn't get it's not my site but just a forum.
Anyway, here it is her answer.

Wow, that's quite some dedication! Does Richard know about your site? It must be quite flattering for him to know he has so many adoring fans (or a bit spooky, not sure I'd like it myself.... ;o) )

I don't think the project is top secret, at least I hope not otherwise no-one will get to see it! But until all episodes are 'in the can' and the series is officially scheduled, I'm not sure how much I can give away, but here goes.

Moving On is a set of 5 x 45 min afternoon dramas which will be broadcast one a day over one week. The idea is to have an issue-led documentary in the morning (say, on drugs or debt etc) and then a drama in the afternoon on the same theme. Jimmy McGovern is executive-producing and the other 4 writers are Esther Wilson, Marc Pye, Karen Brown and Arthur Ellison. Although each of the five dramas has the same motif of someone moving house, the plays themselves are not linked, they are five independent stories.

Yes, Richard Armitage stars in mine, along with the wonderful Christine Tremarco (Clocking Off, Waterloo Road) and Jo-Ann Knowles (Mile High). I actually wrote the part with Richard in mind, although he doesn't know that, you know what these actors and their egos can be like (joking). His character is a bit of a mystery and an enigma, you never quite know where you stand with him (am I being deliberately teasing?).

Richard is very methodical and asks lots of questions to ensure he gets the character absolutely spot on. He is studious and 100% professional and fully deserves the respected reputation he has built up so far (I sound like his schoolteacher now). Both Gary (Williams, the director) and I thought he was a dream to work with. I honestly don't think anyone else could have done as good a job as he did, so all you RA fans are in for a real treat come Spring time. I personally think it's his best performance to date, but then I would say that, wouldn't I?

Filming was indeed in December in Liverpool (your 'spy' had very good eyesight, it would seem...) and that is now complete. Filming of the others should be complete by mid-Feb. We are hoping to have a May transmission date. I think the BBC will be giving their 'new look daytime revamp' quite a high profile and prolonged publicity push, so look out for the 'rumblings' anytime from now onwards, really.

Wie ich schon auf C19 geschrieben hab, es wir Zeit, dass uns mal jemand wissen lässt, dass RA regelmäßig zu spät und verkatert am Set erscheint und seinen Text nicht kann und überhaupt ganz grässlich ist.
