13 actors you never knew were in Star Wars movies, from Rose Byrne to Brian Blessed
Dominic West, what on earth are you wearing?
By Matt Hill and Ali Plumb
Film fans around the world are rewatching the old Star Wars movies to prepare for The Force Awakens, and there are more than a few surprises in store.
Putting Jar Jar's unabashed Jar Jar-iness to one side, some of the biggest "What the!?" moments are when you recognise now-famous actors, all young and eager, gurning for the camera in the prequels trilogy.
Here, then, are some of our favourite "Is that who I think it is...!?" actors from the sci-fi saga, concentrating on Episodes I-III, but with a couple of original trilogy gems thrown in for good measure.
1. DOMINIC WEST
Character: Naboo palace guard Jerus Jannick
Appeared in: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

2. RICHARD ARMITAGE
